The Gunnar Bjorkland Memorial Raffle
Gunnar was a dedicated member of the Festival of {Giving} Trees for 12 years, and at just nineteen, was unanimously voted onto the Board of Directors. Sadly, Gunnar left this world unexpectedly in February 2021.
In his honor, the Festival of {Giving} Trees proudly holds the Gunnar Bjorkland Annual Memorial Raffle — created so that Gunnar will always remain a part of the Festival he loved so deeply. Through this raffle, his generous spirit continues to support the causes that meant so much to him.
While our theme may change from year to year, it will always carry one lasting message: to live life while you can, do what you can, and make the most of every experience — a true reflection of how Gunnar lived his life and the joy he shared with everyone around him.

To Gunnar: I will always remember the fun we had over the years at the Festival. You were so funny and always upbeat. As a volunteer and a member of the Festival of Giving Trees (FOGT) event committee, as well as a FOGT Board of Directors, you always gave 100%. You became not only a good friend but a part of our FOGT family. I will miss you always.
